Μία ενδιαφέρουσα ιστορία από τον κιθαρίστα των Linkin Park και η πρώιμη demo version του “Ιn The End”

Στα πλαίσια μίας πρόσφατης online συνέντευξης για λογαριασμό του περιοδικού Louder, οι εναπομείναντες Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave Farell και Joe Hahn μίλησαν επί παντός επιστητού.

Πιο συγκεκριμένα ο κιθαρίστας Brad Delson, αναφέρθηκε στην πρώτη φορά που άκουσε τη φωνή του Chester Bennington:

Νομίζω ότι άκουσα τη φωνή του Chester όταν τραγούδησε το κομμάτι Pictureboard. Θυμάμαι ότι όταν το άκουσα είπα: Tι πιστεύετε γι’ αυτόν τον τύπο; Μας έστειλε αυτό εδώ το demo και σχεδόν κλαίγοντας είπα: “Ουάου”.
Ήταν τρυφερός και ευαίσθητος στα κουπλέ και μπορούσα να ακούσω όλες τις αρμονικές στις χαμηλές του νότες. Μου πήρε το μυαλό και είπα ότι πρέπει να τον γνωρίσουμε.

Να θυμίσουμε ότι στις 24 Οκτώβρη οι Linkin Park γιορτάζουν την επέτειο των 20 ετών από την κυκλοφορία του debut album τους “Hybrid Theory” και κυκλοφορούν ένα επετειακό box set.

Στα πλαίσια της προώθησης αυτού του box set μάλιστα, έδωσαν στη δημοσιότητα ένα πρώιμο demo για το κομμάτι “In the End” με εντελώς διαφορετικούς στίχους.
